(For the more adventuresome\, those who want can camp at the ranch.)\n\nHoliday Inn Express and Suites\, 1205 Avenida Central North\, The Villages\, FL 32159\nComfort Suites the Villages\, 1202 Avenida Central\, Lady Lake\, FL 32159\nTownePlace Suites by Marriott The Villages\, 1141 Alonzo Ave\, The Villages\, FL 32159\n\n\nMeet at Margarita Republic\, Gator’s Dockside \, or some other venue around\, or near\, Spanish Springs Town Square for dinner.\nDrinks at McCall’s Tavern to follow?\n\nSaturday Morning – The Villages \n\nCheck out of the hotel (if desired)\nMeet for breakfast at Panera\, Perkins\, or a hotel breakfast (depending on the hotel)\n11:00 am – Meet up in the parking lot in front of the Publix (1120 Bichara Blvd inThe Villages) to drive out to the ranch for the cookout.\n12:00-5:00 pm – Cookout\, all are welcome to stay for as long as they want.\n\n \n\nA 50-50 Poker Run to benefit Ronald McDonald House around 2:00-3:00 PM(provided there is interest.) There will be signs on the roads nearby directing you to the ranch.) \nGetting to the ranch is actually part of the event.  MacKay Tigerhead Ranch is on Marion County Road\, which is actually in extreme northern Lake County and is identified variously as being in Lady Lake\, The Villages\, and/or Weirsdale.   I am told you can use the address of 5110 Valley Oak St\, Weirsdale\, FL 32195 to get close\, but the actual driveway from Marion County Road is a dirt road about 25 feet further east and called Tall Pine St. You will cross the Lake/Marion County line along the driveway; the ranch itself is in Marion County. There will be signs on the roads nearby directing you to the ranch.

SUMMARY:2018 Ride to the Ranch
DESCRIPTION:Well\, it is that time of year\, Spring is here (at least in Florida). The 5th “Ride to the Ranch: sponsored by the First Coast Chapter BMW CCA will be here soon. The 19th of May to be exact. I know it is a long drive for the members\, but we would enjoy having as many of you attend as possible. One thing to know is that this is a no-cost event. The cost is being shared by the Florida BMW CCA Chapters. \nSince the event is on Saturday\, everyone is welcome to come down on Friday if that would work better for you. There are hotels nearby in Lady Lake\, The Villages\, Leesburg\, and Belleview. If you want to be “adventurous”\, you are welcome to camp out for the weekend. With 500 acres we have plenty of space to do so. \n2013 – The first Ride to the Ranch \nBelow are the specifics regarding the cookout. \nRegistration:\nRegistration is open on MotorsportReg.com.\nUse the following link to register:\nwww.motorsportreg.com/events/fifth-annual-ride-to-ranch-tiger-head-bmw-cca-first-coast-594414\nTime: \nAll Day Saturday\, come early and stay as long as you like. Lunch will be served around 1:00 to 1:30 PM. \nEvents at the Cookout: \nA scenic drive in the area for those who want see the sights around the area. A map will be provided. \nA Poker Run of around 45 minutes to an hour in length beginning at the ranch and ending back at the ranch. Buy in will be $10.00 per participant with 50% going to the winner and 50% to the Ronald McDonald House. \nA “Favorites” Concours where everyone votes for their favorite three cars and there will be awards for the top two cars. This event will be hosted by the Florida Suncoast Chapter\, \nA tour of the “Carriage Museum” located just down the road from the ranch.
