Oktoberfest
Oktoberfest will be Saturday, October 11, 2025 starting at 5:00p in Sanford FL. More details to follow. Save the date and RSVP by replying here or via the Facebook event. Hope to see you there!

Christmas Party – Save the Date
The annual chapter Christmas party will be held December 5, 2025 at a venue and time to be announced later.

Sunrise/Sunset 2026 Dates

We are currently planning to do the sunrise/sunset drive on January 31, 2026 and meet for dinner the night before.  One of our members has shared his favorite route from Flagler Beach to Crystal River.  Much more interesting than Route 44 which we drove this year.  Pencil this date in on your calendars and watch for updates.

Museum Tours – Any Interest?

Any interest in doing a drive and an overnight stay to tour museums around Florida such as Naples?  Look for the Facebook poll or reply to this email to indicate your interest.

If there is a local Cars and Coffee event or local car show that you attend, please let us know so we can add it to our calendar!

Come join us for Sunshine Bimmers Funday Drive to Yalaha Bakery!

We did this drive 2 years ago and members really enjoyed it!

So, If you enjoyed the drive to Yalaha Bakery and Silver Springs you are going to really enjoy this drive to Clermont. The back roads are twisty with many elevation changes, plus some really nice scenic views.

Lets meet at the Publix Shopping Center located at 2042 State Rd19 Tavares, Fl. 32778 at 11:00 am for a 11:30 am departure.

We’ll drive down some very nice, twisty back roads to Yalaha Bakery located at 8210 County Road 48, Yalaha 34797 for a pastry pit stop.

Lunch will be at a restaurant located in Clermont. Location is to be determined.

Third Annual All-German Car Show

Saturday October 15th 10:00am—2:00pm

The Public may make any suitable donation for a ticket. This is a charity fundraiser for Dollars for Scholars.

See German Vehicles and Automotive Vendors & listen to The Villages German Band.

Join this unique opportunity to interact with members of at least 3 German Marques: Mercedes-Benz Porsche & BMW.

Hosted by the Harbor Hills Country Club

Display vehicle registration is $25 per vehicle after September 1st $35 after October 1st $50 per vehicle. A $1.00 processing fee will be added to all registrations.

Tickets for the Public – Spectators to view the vehicles are “Donation” you pick the amount you wish to donate when purchasing a guest ticket.

Bring your own folding chairs.

Includes: “Show & Shine” of up to 150 vehicles four marques. Trophies Split the Pot and The Villages German Band for German music! German style lunch can be purchased at Harbor Hills Country Club.

To make a donation to the charity: click on Donation Tickets $1 $5 & $10. You may purchase as many donation tickets as you like.

Instructions for German Car Owners to Show Your Vehicle:

1. Purchase your registration via the orange TICKETS 

2. Complete the required registration form (part of the ticket purchase process). If you have a problem send an e-mail to Mike@MBenzClub.com

We are offering an early purchase price (before August 1st) which will be confirmed by e-mail for $25 each. Members of the three sponsoring car clubs may use their club’s discount coupon to save $5, on the registration fee. There will be limited space so send your check in early with our registration form below. Yes, display space is limited. Exhibitor Tickets are on sale now. After August 1st the registration to display a vehicle goes up to $25 each. After September 15 the registration fee is $35.

All Tickets are sold online ONLY. This includes Guest-Donation Tickets as well.

All sales are final refunds will only be given if the event is canceled. The show will run rain or shine.
