Rob is a 37-year old that was born in New Jersey. He is a Mechanical Engineer at Harris Corporation. Rob has been married to his loving wife Lucy for 10 years. They have two wonderful boys, Ayrton and Jenson – both budding car enthusiasts. We have attested to this many times during our Space Coast lunches where they bring their awesome Hotwheels collection with many BMW models!

Joining the family is their dogs, Biscotti and Teddy. His first BMW was a 2002 BMW 330ci which he modded a bunch and had a lot of fun with. His current BMW’s are a 2000 BMW 540iT Dinan Stage 2 and a 2000 BMW Z3 2.8. He has owned a total of 6 BMW’s. Rob is an avid track enthusiast and has participated in tons of autocrosss and track events at Daytona, Sebring, and the FIRM. He has been part of Sunshine Bimmers since 2010. We are glad to hear that having more events on the coast has renewed his interest in the club in the last few years. Some of his hobbies (other than BMW’s) are fishing, surfing, and anything car-related.

Eduardo is a 40-year-old BMW enthusiast who was born in Caguas, PR. He works at Northrop Grumman Aerospace Services. He has owned a total of two BMWs which the first was a 2002 330xi (which he still owns) and he also owns a 2015 X4. He enjoys playing volleyball and weight lifting. His personal motto: “The sky is the limit”. Eduardo has been a member of Sunshine Bimmers for about a month now so make sure to welcome him to our Chapter when you meet him at one of our local events.

Kyle is a 31-year-old BMW enthusiast who was born in Eau Claire, WI. His closest siblings are still up in Wisconsin (Mother) and Minnesota (Father and Sister).

Kyle is an Aerospace Engineer at Northrop Grumman. He has owned a total of seven BMWs which the first was a 2004 325i Sedan, his current BMW’s are a 2013 135i M-Sport and a 2005 330ci.

Some of Kyle’s hobbies are firearms and personal fitness since he used to be a combat engineer in the Army. Kyle is into everything automotive. He has owned 27 cars and imported a Suzuki Cappuccino from Japan last year. He is also into DIY ranging from technology to home renovations.

Julia says she is old enough to know better but young enough to do it anyway. She is the proud mom of a USAF Airman (who also resides in ///M Town!). Her son Matt currently lives in Italy and has been touring Europe in his M3 and most recently his new M4 Competition. Julia works for the Dept. of the Air Force (Scientist). She was born in North Carolina and has been a member of Sunshine Bimmers since earlier this year.

Julia has owned a total of two BMWs which the first was a 530i and she currently drives “The Beast” a beautiful Alpine White X5M. Some of Julia’s hobbies are snowboarding, scuba diving, road trips in “The Beast”, and traveling the world. Her personal motto is “Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body. But rather to skid in sideways, espresso in one hand, snowboard in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming…
Woohoo what a ride!”

Melissa is a dog mom of three beautiful fur babies. She is a middle school Social Studies teacher in Brevard County. 

She was born in Manati, Puerto Rico and grew up in Orlando. Melissa’s has owned a total of two BMW’s. Her first was a 2009 BMW 328i in Montego Blue color. Her current BMW is a 2013 BMW 135i in Carbon Schwarz. It has been tastefully modified with some go fast parts and some nice aesthetics. You can see her build progress on her Instagram @mel_135i 

Melissa has participated in the M Track Day events at Homestead Miami and at Palm Beach International Raceway. She also has enjoyed driving at the BMW Performance Center in South Carolina while accompanying her significant other during Performance Deliveries. She will be prepping her 135i to participate in local SCCA event. 

She has been a Sunshine Bimmers member since January 2018. Her hobbies other than BMWs is giving back to her kids at school, providing them with life lessons to better their futures, spending time with her family and traveling.

Dennis is a 60+-year-old BMW enthusiast that was born in Waseca, MN. He has been married to his wife Mary for 34 years. He is the Branch Manager at ADI Global Distribution in Melbourne, FL, which is a worldwide supplier of products for low voltage industry. 

Dennis has owned two BMWs, his first BMW was a 1984 E36 325Ci and he currently owns a 2006 E46 325Ci, he has been a member of Sunshine Bimmers since 2016. He has not participated in any track events due to many schedule conflicts but he is hoping to own an M model BMW for track days in the future. 

Some of his other hobbies include woodworking, remodeling, kayaking, bicycle riding and spending time with his wife. 

His personal motto is “Life is too short, embrace the moment.”
