Help Us Go Paperless

Posted by on Jun 21, 2018 in Article, News | 0 comments

Dear Members:

In an effort to ensure that our organization is adhering to the requirements as set forth by BMW CCA, our current Board members will be calling some of our membership over the next week regarding their currently selected preference for obtaining the Sunshine Bimmers newsletter. Our goal is to reach 100% paperless distribution within the next year.

If you aren’t certain of your current newsletter preference, please log-in on the BMWCCA.org site: https://www.bmwcca.org/login
1) Select “my membership”
2) Email Preferences & Demographics
3) select “Receive Chapter Newsletter via” Email

It might be a good time to update some of your other information as well.  In advance, thank you for your help to get us paperless!

Spring has sprung and if you’re like a large percentage, the effects of pollen are abound!  Who doesn’t love that yellow film all over your Bimmers shiny finish?

Here are some tips for keeping your car pollen free:

We have had a lot of fun over the past few months.  Our first Sunday morning club breakfast at The Breakfast Club in Maitland was well attended and our drive to Goodrich’s Seafood Restaurant in Oak Hill was certainly cold, but a lot of fun.  Several members were able to see parts of Florida that they had never seen before and enjoyed some delicious, fresh seafood all at the same time.

We introduced a new Cars & Coffee gathering in the east Volusia County area that drew quite a crowd and included a beautiful drive along “The Loop” in Ormond Beach.  Thank you to Sunshine Bimmers member and previous Member Spotlight, Randy Lynch for coordinating and to Donnie’s Donuts for hosting.

Mark Your Calendars for:

A Tech event on April 7 (Saturday), a possible weekend Sunrise to Sunset drive the weekend of April 13 beginning in the Jacksonville area, traveling southwest toward Cedar Key / Crystal River area and a lunch gathering on April 22 (Sunday) at Sand on the Beach in Melbourne!  Thanks to each of you who have stepped up to help coordinate some of these activities!
